Shelbra believes every person deserves the opportunity to create a quality of life that best suits them.
This belief motivates her to reach as many people as she can to share the opportunities Medical Coding
offers, whether by giving medical coding guidance to providers by way of auditing their medical records
or instructing a medical coding class.
Having had the honor of serving her country in the United States Army as a Sergeant in the medical field,
Shelbra completed her six-year tour in the United States and Germany. She served in Alexandria,
Virginia at Ft. Belvoir and in Bamberg, Germany as a Medical Specialist. Shelbra is also the Creator and
Founder of Build-a-Breakfast, an organization that gives breakfast food items to families in underserved
communities. She enjoys spending her time with family, mentoring young women and serving the
public.
